Lisa Needed a Fresh Start
“I am so very grateful for Martha’s Village and Kitchen because I was fresh out of rehab and had no place to go when I got out,” said Lisa in her farewell letter to Martha’s.
When Lisa first arrived at Martha’s Village and Kitchen, she started the transitional housing program without her family. By coming to Martha’s, Lisa was able to have shelter and a sober living environment to help her get back on her feet.
Lisa’s Accomplishments at Martha’s
After staying four months in a single unit, Lisa was able to get her children back. By taking advantage of all the programs and services available to her, Lisa has now exited our transitional housing program sober, with a steady job, and an apartment to call home. With her family at her side, Lisa has found the strength and stability to move on and live self-sufficiently.
“I’m leaving with a job that I’ve been on for almost a year and an apartment I can call my own. Thank you MVK! – From Lisa and kids.”
