“My life changed for the better the moment that I came to MVK.”
Kimberly and her family’s relationship turned in a different direction causing her to become homeless with only her 5-month-old son. She is a single mother who was on maternity leave when she arrived at Martha’s Village & Kitchen.
Kimberly returned to work and found childcare for her son. “The biggest thing that I learned at MVK was how to become self-sufficient and independent.” Kimberly was approved for rapid rehousing from a community service organization and will begin the move out process. Her new goal is to buy a car so she is able to have stable transportation.
