Children’s Services is dedicated to the ongoing development of the children of Martha’s Village & Kitchen. Our goal is to change the lives of children one child at a time through education, activities with parents, and socialization. Parents benefit from the program because they know their children are in a safe and nurturing environment, thus enabling them to focus on the goal of becoming self-sufficient.

The Children’s Services Department

  • Is licensed by the State of California to care for children ranging in ages from birth to 17-years-old.

  • Follows the Creative Curriculum for infants to 5-year-olds. Children are given the freedom to learn at their own pace while developing important social and emotional skills.

  • Promotes character development with the Character Counts curriculum.

  • Strengthens family bonds by providing opportunities for parents to spend quality time with their children. Parents are welcome to participate in classroom activities, special events and family activities like preparing family dinners.

Our Mission

Our mission is to improve the social, emotional, and physical health and well-being of children. We prepare them for school success by offering safe, creative, age-appropriate and challenging activities through our child development center. Our staff members partner with parents to help them build strong, self-reliant families.
