The homeless find respite at the Dan Dunlap Center, a two-story 42,000-sq. ft. structure containing dining facilities, classrooms, a medical clinic, and early childhood center. The upstairs family section consists of 28 spacious rooms housing an average of four to six people per room, totaling approximately 120 men, women and children.
Residential and case management staff is on hand 24 hours a day. Village residents have access to laundry machines, hygiene supplies, lounges and shower facilities. Clients also enjoy access to medical services and resource programs such as literacy, chemical dependency programs, job training, ABE, ESL classes and housing search assistance.
Fully accessible to disabled clients, the Dan Dunlap Center is located in a mixed residential-industrial site near transportation and public amenities.
The 10-acre property sits in a park-like setting.
